ADMINISTRATION: Stewards of His Love

September 2018

Atrium 2018-2019

Registration for 2018-2019 Atrium is now open!
The Atrium is a beautiful space prepared for children where contemplation and wonder are at the heart. The Atrium offers the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (see brief video), a Catholic Montessori religious education program founded on the Scriptures and the Liturgy of the Church. Through hands-on work and joyful contemplation in the Atrium, the children are invited to nourish their relationship with Jesus and to deepen their love for His Church.
This year, we again offer a Level I Atrium for children three to six years old and a Level II Atrium for children ages six to nine years old.
Level I will have two sessions, the first meeting from 1:30-3:30pm on Wednesdays and the second meeting from 9:00-11:00am on Saturdays. (The Level I sessions are for students not enrolled in St. Jerome Academy's Montessori Primary Program, since these students already participate in the Atrium throughout the morning.)
Level II will have two sessions, the first meeting from 3:30-5:30pm on Tuesdays and the second meeting from 9:00-11:00am on Saturdays. Sessions will begin the last week in September. The annual cost for the Atrium program is $400 for Level I and $500 for Level II to be paid in three installments. The cost is the same for parishioners and non-parishioners. Please note: if you register for the 1:30-3:30pm on Wednesday Level I Atrium, completing the immunization forms is required in addition to the online registration form.
Here is the link to the registration form
Atrium Registration 2018-2019 Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and Atrium class sizes are limited. Acceptance into the class requires payment of the $100 tuition deposit and any unpaid balance of tuition from the previous year.
Thank you for your interest in St. Jerome's Atrium.|
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth Burghart
Assistant Montessori Director

Pray for healing, Mass and vigil

We invite you to join St. Jerome's Parish for Mass at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 28th with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament immediately following for an all-night vigil, ending at the 8:00 am Mass on September 29th, the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel.  Come sit with Christ's crucified and resurrected body to pray for healing for those who suffered abuse within the Church, for repentance of the abusers and those who covered up these sins, and for mercy and grace for all of us as we mourn this terrible scandal.
